We’re excited to announce the arrival of our latest exclusive offering, just in time for Bourbon Heritage Month – the highly anticipated Eagle Rare Single Barrel! This release is extra special, and we’re thrilled to share it with our valued customers.

 

The Story Behind This Barrel:

Back in April, we had the privilege of visiting the Buffalo Trace Distillery, where we were joined by none other than the legendary Freddy Johnson. During our visit, we had the opportunity to select this exceptional single barrel of Eagle Rare. The experience was made even more memorable as we toured Buffalo Trace’s newly built tasting facility in Warehouse H, dedicated to showcasing single barrels like Eagle Rare and Weller. To give you a glimpse into this unique process, we’ve included some photos from our visit below.  

Unique Offering:

• Bottle Size: To give more of our customers the chance to enjoy this special release, we’ve chosen to bottle it in a 375ml size. With this approach, we were able to yield approximately 330 bottles from the barrel.
• Tasting Notes: We just opened a bottle for a quick taste test, and we can confidently say that this Eagle Rare Single Barrel is exceptional – full of the rich, smooth flavor you’d expect from this iconic bourbon.

 

Exclusive Pre-Sale Event:

To kick off this release, we’re hosting a special pre-sale event starting this Saturday at 10 AM at our Fairview Heights location. Here’s how it will work:

• Limited Availability: The first 100 customers in line will be able to purchase up to two bottles of the Eagle Rare 375ml with our Still Austin Single Barrel ($64.99). The total would be $115 plus tax for VIPs. 
• Tasting Opportunity: We’re already halfway through our Still Austin Single Barrel, thanks to its warm reception. As an added bonus, you’re welcome to try it before you buy!
• Special Pricing: The Eagle Rare 375ml is priced at $27.99, but our VIP customers will enjoy a special price of $24.99.

This is a rare opportunity to secure a bottle (or two!) of Eagle Rare, and we anticipate high demand. If you’re a fan of this renowned bourbon, we strongly recommend arriving early to ensure you don’t miss out. We will hand out tickets to the first 100 people in line to ensure no one has to wait to then be disappointed they were 102. When we have hit capacity, we will update our Illinois Facebook page to keep everyone updated.
