November Newsletter Mon, Sep 12, 22 November Newsletter Each month, I would like to do an overview newsletter of what’s going on in the industry as well as at Randall’s. I will put headlines in order to save you time from reading the whole thing to find the topics that interest you. I’ll try to keep it to 4-5 topics each month. Buy EarlyAs with a lot of other industries, we are seeing a major shortage in products due to shortages in glass bottles, trucking, and containers. The advice I would give is to buy your products now – do not wait. Here are some examples to show how bad it’s going to get…This week, distributors are out of Caymus Cabernet, Bulleit 1.75, Remy VSOP 750ml, Hennessy 750ml, Dusse (all sizes), Evan Williams 1.75, and Makers Mark 1.75, just to name a few. There is no guarantee these items will be back in stock before the end of the year. At Randall’s, we are loading up on everything we can get our hands on to stock shelves for the holiday season. Rylee’s VodkaThank you so much for the support on this brand! Since sending the informative email out in early October, we have sold over 1,000 bottles! Also, everyone must be pleased with Rylee’s Vodka as we have not had one customer request a refund. (Our guarantee is if you don’t like it, we will replace it.) The same reason Walgreens or Costco have their own generic brands to save you money was exactly the goal with this vodka. The numbers speak for themselves. Good vodka doesn’t have to be expensive. New Location On The HillThe opening has been a success and the seminars have been selling out most of the time. I’m glad people are enjoying learning about the endless brands that are out there these days. We are lucky to be living in an age when there is so much to choose from (except allocated whiskey). Please stop by when you’re in the area and check out our new store. In regards to expanding, we are continually looking for new locations as well, so there may be a store coming closer to you soon! Kerber Buffalo Trace Single BarrelWe’ve done several whiskey and hockey talks with Chris Kerber, and he is one of the best people to listen to. Last week at our second event, he brought Darren Pang along with him and the stories were endless. We are releasing a Buffalo Trace Single Barrel that was picked out by Kerber. The single barrel will be released on December 11th at 1pm at our West County store. Only 375ml bottles will be available that day. The only way to get a 750ml bottle is by donating school supplies at any of our 5 Randall’s locations between 11/20-12/5. For every 3 items you donate, you’ll earn a raffle ticket. On December 7, we will draw the names of 90 winners. (Learn more about our school supply drive and bourbon raffle HERE.) Competition & LocalThank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t say it enough to our VIPs and customers. You allow all of us the opportunity to have a job in an industry that we enjoy. Our staff truly is the bread & butter of our organization, and there is no chance this company could run without them. They want to find you products that are best for you, not items that earn us the most profit. So please, spread the word about Randall’s to your friends and family. We are your hometown liquor store. If there’s ever anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the company through info@shoprandalls.com or contact me, Todd Randall, directly at toddrandall@internetliquor.com. Suzie
