Happy Valentine’s Day! Today is the day to grab a bottle of Champagne and share it with someone special. And we have the perfect option for you: Baron Fuente!

After importing for a couple years, we had found suppliers for every sparkling wine: Cava, Prosecco, French Sparkling. But we were still missing a Champagne producer that we really liked. About five years ago, we happened to meet with a Champagne producer at a trade show who produced fantastic products. We immediately jumped at the chance to carry this producer’s products, and it turned out to be a great success from the beginning. The producer’s name: Baron Fuente.

Not only are a lot of their Champagnes rated, but they also provide fantastic value! We sell three of their products for under $30, which is less than any other champagne on the market. The lowest probably being Nicolas Feuillatte at around $35.

A quick note: We noticed about three years ago that Binny’s, another large retailer in Chicago, had picked up this product. It was unfortunate that our find was no longer a secret, but it was also nice to see our import program validated that we found great wines that overdeliver for the price. While we don’t import all of their wines, you can see from the chart below which proves that Baron Fuente is a top quality producer.
