Star Wars Day Cocktails

Blue Milk of Tatooine
2 oz gin
1/2 oz blue curaçao
1 oz cream of coconut
3/4 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
3/4 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz orgeat
1/2 oz vanilla syrup

Add the gin, blue curaçao, cream of coconut, lime juice, pineapple juice, orgeat and vanilla syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a Collins glass.


Yoda Soda
3/4 oz Gin
2 oz cucumber lime syrup*
Soda

*For cucumber lime syrup: Add juice of 3 cucumbers, 1-1/2 limes and ¼ cup monk fruit sweetener into a mixing vessel. Stir until the sweetener is dissolved. Bottle and refrigerate.

Build in a glass, top two ingredients. Add pebble ice and top with soda. Gently stir to incorporate ingredients. Garnish with a cucumber and citrus lace.


The Lightsaber
3/4 oz Mezcal
3/4 oz cachaca
1/2 oz light creme de cacao
1/2 oz blue curaçao
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Bing cherry garnish

Combine mezcal, cachaca, creme de cacao, blue curacao and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until very cold, then strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with bing cherry - preferably skewered with a mini lightsaber.


Obi-Wan Old Fashioned
2-1/2 oz Whiskey
1/2 oz raw simple syrup*
2-3 dashes of barrel-aged bitters or Angostura Bitters

*For raw simple syrup: 1 cup sugar in the raw, 1 cup water. Simmer until dissolved.

Stir with ice, strain over a large ice cube. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry or orange.


May the Orchard Be With You
1-1/2 oz Whiskey with a Rum Cask Finish
2 oz apple and pear allspice mix*
1 oz lemon juice

*For the apple and pear allspice mix: over medium heat add 8 oz sugar, 16 oz apple cider, 16 oz pear juice, 2 oz muddled allspice berries, 4 oz vanilla bean paste, 4 oz calvados. Stir to combine and let simmer until sugar is dissolved. Do Not Boil. Strain and let cool.

Combine all ingredients together and shake with ice. Garnish with an apple chip.


Jedi Mind Trick
2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Aquavit
1/2 oz orange liqueur
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz caraway simple syrup*

For the caraway simple syrup: over medium heat add 8 oz water and 8 oz sugar. Stir until dissolved. Toast 1 oz caraway seeds for 5 minutes at 325 degrees. Add toasted caraway seeds. Steep for 20 minutes and strain.

Shake all ingredients and strain. Serve up in frozen coupe glass. Garnish with a dehydrated lemon slice.
